Doc Martens and dresses

Doc Martens teamed with a dress; I cannot express how much I love this look at the moment! It's the perfect The shoes tend to lean more to the masculine side since they were first made for German soldiers during World War II but over the years, they have developed a range for women and even tiny ones for kids! They've also developed a floral range which I think is pretty cute.

The dress should end above the knee. Depending on the style of the dress and what accessories you add, you can pull off this look for practically any occasion. For example:

A Music Festival

Doc Martens are the perfect shoes for a music festival such as Soundwave or Big Day Out where you will be engaging in a lot of dancing and walking. Unless you're a big fan of blisters, comfortable shoes are ESSENTIAL. In the hotter months, wear a light dress, lots of bracelets and a cute headband or bow. In Winter, add some tights and a cardigan.

A formal or party

Make a statement and ditch the high heels. If you want a formal look, throw on a cropped blazer and stick to neutral colours.

If you're heading to a party, wear a bright dress and Doc Martens to match, although black works well with most dresses.

Casual

A floral dress goes well with Doc Martens. Add a light wash denim vest for jacket and a cute hippie headband.

<--- They look amazing with shorts as well

Ahoy hoy!

Hey all,

I'm Tamara (I think) and I'm short. My posts are mainly going to be based on what I'm most passionate about, other than music- fashion and makeup. ^_^ Here's a bit about me, for all you stalkers out there.

Eyes: Brown- according to a friend, they look like almonds...cut in half.
Hobbies: Piano, flute, netball, sprinting (I'm too good to do long distance..... in other words, i suck. ha.), fashion designing, experimenting with makeup, reading, singing and music.
Intrests (yes, there's a difference between hobbies and intrests.): music :D, fashion, books, makeup, sport, tv soaps, jewellry and of course, friends. How could I live without them?
